Peppi Guggenheim Solidarity Music Festival –
Open-Air

Twenty international jazz greats are coming together in three explosive formations for this evening alone! All the musicians, DJs, performers, and drags will take the stage in solidarity with Peppi Guggenheim. Pleasure for the all the senses guaranteed!!
Save Peppi Guggenheim!
To help save Peppi Guggenheim, we have organized an open-air solidarity festival of music and artistry that will take you grooving into the weekend.
This will be a legendary summer party – at Beach Neukölln with its large stage and beach bar in the Berliner Berg Brauerei.
Prince Gabriel, the charming and brilliant drag artist is our guide through the evening – with its lineup of three live bands, all of them formed especially for this evening. The twenty outstanding musicians participating include lots of big names from the Berlin and international jazz scene – whose individual biographies alone would easily fill an entire program booklet of its own.
With his fire show, Eddi Egal, the Pyromancer of ARSON ART – who has been Berlin fixture for decades with his performances at legendary locations like Tacheles – will bring an authentic “flaming” Berlin feeling to the stage.
The Japanese Butoh dancer Shimo, who today calls Berlin his home, provides an intensive counterpoint with his impressive performance.
Our Peppi DJs – DJ Jazz Ape and DJ Smorgasbord – take over for the rest of the evening – with a mix of funk, jazz, hip-hop, soul, and Afrobeats to get everyone up and dancing.
You can already purchase your tickets now: the first 150 tickets for the price of only 20 € rather than 25 € (plus presale charge), or on the day of the festival itself for 30 €.

Line-up :
1. The festival kicks off at 6 p.m. with the Berlin Master Club, a five-person jazz collective with masterful, idiosyncratic interpretations of standards – between swing and modern jazz, with echoes of Thelonious Monk:
Rudi Mahall – bass clarinet
Flo Müller – E-guitar
Ben Lehmann – double bass
Jan Leipnitz – drums
Felix Wahnschaffe – saxophone
2. The KM Magic Ensemble, which developed from the “Fresh Milk” project of Kellen Tryon Mills (Bass, Composition) in 2025, takes over at 7:30 p.m.
The sound: original compositions between Jazz, improvisation & experimental music – typically Berlin, internationally magnetic.
An exceptional formation bringing together musicians from the international jazz avant-garde:
Kellen Tryon Mills – bass, composition
Johannes Fink – cello/bass
Olga Reznichenko – piano
Greg Smith – drums
Peter van Huffel – alto saxophone
Jonathan Lindhorst – saxophone

3. At 9 p.m., Cyber Romeo will get everyone up and dancing, with its music at the crossroads between funk and punk. For this festival, the original punk band will be joined by a four-man funky brass section. A genre-crossing fusion of art & music.

Peter Schlangenbader – Drums & Vocals
Heiji Mori – Bass
Zam Johnson – Guitar
And the brass section:
Paul Schwingenschlögl – Trumpet

We feel fortunate to have the help of lots of volunteers to be able to host this open-air festival.
With the kind support of our beer supplier the Berliner Berg Brauerei and the location Beach Neukölln – Channel Musik, which is making its premises and equipment available to us. One hundred percent of the profits will go to save Peppi Guggenheim – a one-of-a-kind place for culture and encounters. You can also support us at this site.
